REQUEST FOR BIDS

Request for Bids

The Borough of Mercersburg, Franklin County, PA seeks bids for the sale of a 2007 Ford Ranger single cab truck, 8’ bed, 4x4, with approximately 108,661 miles (the “Vehicle”). The Vehicle is being sold in AS IS CONDITION, with state inspection valid through 8/2024.

All bids must be received by 4:00 p.m. on or before Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Borough Office, 113 South Main Street, Mercersburg, PA 17236 in a sealed envelope and clearly labeled “Vehicle Bid”. Electronic submittals will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the Property Committee Meeting in Town Hall at the above address on May 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., with Borough Council’s approval of the sale expected to occur at the Council Meeting in Town Hall on May 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids, and to accept any bid which it deems to be in the best interest of the Borough.
