SEEKING A BOROUGH MANAGER
Mercersburg Borough is accepting applications for a Borough Manager. Located in Franklin County. Mercersburg Borough is a rural borough with approximately 1,500 residents with Water, Sewer, and General Purpose Authorities as well as various other boards and committees. The Borough has a police department consisting of a Police Chief, one full-time Officer, and one Part-time Officer. The non-uniformed full-time employees consist of a Billing Clerk, Administrative Professional, three Public Works Department Employees, and one Water and Sewer Plant Laborer. The Borough functions under PA Borough Code with a mayor and seven council positions. Preferred Qualifications - A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field preferred. A minimum of 5 years of management experience and experience in all aspects of municipal operations.
