MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION NOTICE CONTINUES

CONTINÚA EL AVISO OBLIGATORIO DE CONSERVACIÓN DEL AGUA

The Commonwealth Drought Task Force, has added 4 counties to the Drought Watch list, Carbon, Franklin, Fulton, and Juniata Counties are now under a drought watch.  This brings the total number of counties under Drought Watch to 29.  Residents should always pay attention to any information they receive from their local water supplier. Varying localized conditions may lead water suppliers or municipalities to ask residents to continue conservation measures. The Department always encourages residents to voluntarily conserve nonessential water use.

Due to the continuing low levels in source wells the Mandatory Water Conservation Notice continues for the Mercersburg Water Authority’s System.
